Senior Partner, Financial Advisor
“It’s our job to make your investments make sense, to take some of the emotion out of it. We try to be the voice of reason and optimism in an increasingly emotional and pessimistic world.”

Since co-founding CGC Financial Services in 2006, Glen has sought to make a commitment to excellence, sound investment strategy, and client accessibility the focus of the firm. He believes firmly that client relationships are the foundation of CGC.
With nearly 30 years of experience as a financial advisor, Glen believes that the best part of his job is the journey he is privileged to share with his clients: “I have folks whom I helped get started saving years ago that are entering retirement now. Those who were retiring when I first started working with them are now in their eighties. Often I get the opportunity to work with three or four generations of the same family.”
Glen’s passion for CGC’s mission and vision has not gone unnoticed. In 2008, the Portland Business Journal named Glen one of the top 10 financial advisors in Portland. In 2015, Barron’s named him a top 10 financial advisor in Oregon, his fifth commendation by the publication, and in the same year, he was listed among the top 400 financial advisors in the country by the Financial Times.*
While Glen dedicates every day to the success of CGC, he understands the importance of taking time to cultivate his family, health and interests. He has been an avid marathoner, triathlete, and cyclist for over 35 years. Glen and his wife, Heather, often set aside time to spend with their three grandchildren.
Third-party rankings and recognitions are no guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance or results. These ratings should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client, nor are they representative of any one client’s evaluation.
The “Barron’s Winner’s Circle” is a select group of individuals who are screened on a number of different criteria. The factors that advisors are assessed on include their assets under management, revenues, the quality of service provided to clients, and their adherence to high standards of industry regulatory compliance. Portfolio performance is not a factor. Please see http://online.barrons.com/report/top-financial-advisors for more information.
